Server at Minton House

Minton House is a +55 condominium building with 26 suites that offers services to its 30 residents.  It has a certified kitchen with a Red Seal chef, who prepares an evening meal according to foodsafe standards, 365 days a year. Dinner is served by two people every evening.

Minton House is currently recruiting servers.

Responsibilities

  • Lay the tables before dinner
  • Serve dinner
  • Take trays up to the units on a trolley if requested
  • Clear the tables and clean-up in the dining room after dinner
  • Wash-up and clean up the kitchen (a commercial dishwasher is available) after dinner

 Qualifications

  • Working age
  • Able to follow written and oral instructions in English accurately
  • Courteous and friendly
  • Willing to interact with seniors
  • Able to physically lift 10-20 lbs
  • Willing to attend first aid course

Rate:  $ 18 or 19 an hour?

Hours of work:

The serving shift is from 05:00 to 09:00 PM.  Day(s) of the week to be agreed upon.
