Have you ever wondered what studying the Humanities at university is really like? On Monday, January 19, Vic High students will have a unique opportunity to find out when the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Humanities comes to our school for a Humanities Fair.
This event will take place on the second floor during lunch, and it’s open to Grade 10, 11, and 12 students. Even if UVic isn’t your top choice-or if you’re not sure what you want to study yet. This is a great chance to explore your options and learn more about what the Humanities has to offer.
What makes this event special? It’s the first time UVic’s Faculty of Arts & Humanities has hosted an off-site fair like this. You’ll be able to visit tables staffed by current UVic students and faculty members, ask questions, and get honest insights into what studying Humanities is really like. Make sure you get your bingo card to win UVic Swag!
You can talk directly with students who are in the program now, hear about their experiences, and find out whether this type of program might be the right fit for you. If you’re curious about subjects like history, languages, philosophy, writing, or culture—or if you just want to explore what university life can look like! Don’t miss this opportunity!
